Revlift is a Shopify app that runs A/B price tests: different visitors see different prices for products you choose, and Revlift measures which price earns more revenue per visitor.
What we collect
Store data: your shop domain and the products you select for a test (product and variant IDs, titles, and prices), read via the Shopify API.
Order data: when an order is placed on your store, Shopify sends us the order total, currency, and line items so we can attribute revenue to a test group. We receive this through Shopify's orders webhook and store only what the test measurement needs.
Visitor assignment: an anonymous random token stored in the shopper's cart attributes keeps a visitor in the same test group. It contains no personal information and is never linked to a buyer's identity.
Account data: the shop owner's email as provided by Shopify at install, used for service notices and billing through Shopify.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising.
We do not track shoppers across stores or build shopper profiles.
We do not store shopper names, emails, addresses, or payment details.
Where data lives
Application data is stored in a Postgres database (Neon) and served from Cloudflare's network. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Retention and deletion
When you uninstall Revlift, your shop's access token is deleted immediately and scheduled data associated with your shop is removed within 30 days, except where Shopify requires retention. We honor Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.
Your rights
Store owners and shoppers can request access to or deletion of personal data at any time by emailing mc@mail.instinct.com.
